Winning Ads generates everything you need for a ready-to-run Facebook ad — but if you've ever wondered "which text goes where?", this article breaks it all down for you.
🧩 What Winning Ads Generates
Every time you create an ad in Winning Ads, you get three components:
- Primary Text — The main body of your ad. This is where your storytelling, hooks, and longer copy live. It appears above the image in Facebook. Viewers will see a preview with a "See more" link they can click to expand the full text.
- Headline — A short, punchy line of bold text that appears below the image. It's designed to grab attention and reinforce your main message.
- Image — The AI-generated visual that sits between the Primary Text and the Headline.
That's it — three components, automatically placed in the right spots when you publish.
📐 How a Facebook Ad Is Laid Out
Here's a simple visual showing exactly where each part of your ad appears on Facebook, from top to bottom:
┌─────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ Your Page Name · Sponsored │ ├─────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ │ │ PRIMARY TEXT │ │ This is your main ad copy. It can be │ │ multiple lines long... See more │ │ │ ├─────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ │ │ │ │ [ IMAGE ] │ │ │ │ │ ├─────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ yourwebsite.com │ │ HEADLINE (bold) │ │ Description (optional, smaller text) │ │ [ CTA Button ] │ └─────────────────────────────────────────┘
- Primary Text → generated by Winning Ads ✅
- Image → generated by Winning Ads ✅
- Headline → generated by Winning Ads ✅
- Description → not generated by Winning Ads (see below)
📝 What About the Description Field?
You may have noticed a smaller line of text below the Headline in some Facebook ads — that's the Description field.
Winning Ads does not generate a separate Description. If you'd like to add one, you can do that manually in Meta Ads Manager after publishing your ad. It's completely optional and Facebook doesn't always display it, depending on the placement.
🚀 Publishing vs. Copying Manually
If you use the Publish button in Winning Ads: Your Primary Text, Headline, and Image are automatically placed into the correct fields in your Facebook ad. You don't need to worry about putting things in the right place — it's handled for you.
If you're copying your ad manually (for example, pasting it into Meta Ads Manager yourself): Make sure you paste each component into the correct field:
- The longer body copy goes into the Primary Text field
- The short bold line goes into the Headline field
- Upload or paste the Image separately
A common mistake is swapping the Primary Text and Headline — remember, Primary Text is the longer copy above the image, and the Headline is the short bold text below it.
